Location Description

The region of Szczecin has become the gateway to the Baltic Sea. Adjacent to Szczecin in the north-east of Germany is the region of Uecker-Randow which becomes a common economic area with the attractive region of Szczecin.


With modern seaports, ferries, motorways and railway junctions are the regions of Szczecin and Uecker-Randow a major transport hub for the Baltic region.
Effective way to markets in Scandinavia and the Baltic states, Eastern, Western and Southern Europe are available.

Optimal transport connections are given by:

  • The motorways Hamburg - Lübeck - Szczecin and Berlin - Szczecin with direct access to the entire European road network
  • The train connections Berlin - Sassnitz (Rügen) - (Scandinavia) and Lübeck - Szczecin with the intersection Pasewalk
